Primadophilus Reuteri

Primadophilus Reuteri pearls are a probiotic supplement made by Natures Way and are a great way of getting this valuable bacteria.

They have a number of good points going for them.

  • They contain Lactobacillus reuteri as well as L acidophilus, L rhamnosus and Bifidobacterium longum
  • Each capsule contains a total of 1 billion cfu (although unfortunately they don't state how many you get of each of the four bacteria)
  • Each pearl is very small so super easy to take.
  • Stable at room temperature - very conveneint when compared again probiotics that need to be refrigerated

Other ingredients you'll find in this capsule are coconut oil palm oil, fish gelatin, glycerin, soy lecithin and pectin. There might be trace amounts of milk or soy protein.

You can buy Nature's Way - Primadophilus Reuteri Pearls here.

What's the difference between acidophilus and primadophilus?

Many people wonder just what the difference is between Lactobacillus acidophilus and Primadophilus?

The word is simply a registered trademarked name for a product that contains Lactobacillus reuteri. Now acidophilus also belongs to the Lactobacillus family so these two are "kissing cousins" in the probiotic bacterial world.

The great thing is that you actually get both of these useful bacteria in this Nature's Way supplement. What more could you want!
